Last time that we took a trip to the ocean we decided to make an expedition out of it. This was the second time that we had ventured to the lakes of Florida and we knew from experience that we needed a means of transportation that could take the rough terrain. Our little front wheel drive two door coupe would not suffice however.
From the beginning we had made up our minds that going to trade in our car for a more suitable vehicle was what we would do. Most of the effort we put into this process was spent test driving the vehicles with four wheel drive. Those are really a whole lot different that what we were used to.
After looking at the local selection for three days, we had a new approach. We would drive to the town just outside of our main destination and then checkout the Florida used car selection because we heard on the television that they had a special on used four wheel drive vehicles. That seemed like it would be worth the extra hassle of having to pack, drive out of town, then do some shopping because it could amount to a substantial savings overall.
Things did work out fairly well when this whole process was finally completed, but we were really tired. We actually had to take a whole day to get our energy back up to speed before we did any fishing on the lake. Florida has some really nice lakes but without a vehicle capable of going off-road we would have had a much more challenging time.
